The Park has a network of hard-surfaced wheelchair friendly footpaths. There are several kissing gates throughout the estate; each is accessible with a RADAR key. Accessible toilets are located in the car park and by the Tea Rooms (RADAR key).
The Education Centre is accessed via a wheelchair friendly ramp. Access to Upton House ground floor includes entrance/exit ramps and toilet facilities.

Upton Country Park has teamed up with professional landscape and nature photographer Owen Vachell, to bring you two workshops in early 2018, giving you the opportunity to develop your photography skills and capture the natural environment through the lens:

With the winter months often providing the ideal setting for landscape photography, what better opportunity to learn more about your and your camera’s capabilities and to experience the Country Park from a different perspective.
The one day workshop will begin with a tutorial in Upton House and then take you out into the fresh air of Upton Country Park to practice your technique under Owen’s expert guidance.
The workshop price is £45/adult (over 16’s only) and places are limited to just 15 per workshop. Your fee includes the tutorial and practical session with refreshments throughout the day, served in Upton House - hot drinks on arrival, a quality buffet lunch, and tea, coffee & cake at 3.30pm.
You will need a camera capable of full manual (Digital SLR) with at least one lens. A lens cloth & Tripod, notebook & pen.
